Privacy Policy — kalamless

kalamless ("the app", "we") is a pass-and-play and local-multiplayer charades party game. It is private by design. This page explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

The short version

kalamless does not collect, store, or share any personal information about you. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no ads, no analytics, and no third-party trackers.

Information stored on your device

To remember your preferences, the app saves the following locally on your device only:

• Your display name / nickname (if you set one)
• Your chosen language and game settings (team names, etc.)
• A random, anonymous identifier used to keep your place in a game across reconnects

This information never leaves your device except as described in "Multiplayer" below, and you can erase it at any time by deleting the app.

Multiplayer (playing in a room with others)

When you create or join a multiplayer room, your device connects to a relay server we operate. Its only job is to pass messages between the devices in the same room in real time — like a switchboard.

• The relay routes gameplay messages (such as the nickname you chose, team choices, and game moves) between players' devices so everyone sees the same game.
• The relay does not read, analyze, or store the contents of these messages. They are forwarded in real time and not saved.
• We keep no record of rooms, players, or anything you type. When a room ends, its data is gone.
• Our hosting provider may keep basic, temporary technical logs (such as connection times) for security and reliability, as is standard for any internet service. We do not use these to identify you.

Other players in your room will see the name you choose, so use a nickname if you prefer to stay anonymous.

Children's privacy

kalamless is family-friendly and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Third parties

We do not share data with third parties, because we do not collect it. The app contains no advertising and no analytics SDKs.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
